I have a strong belief that wildlife conservation needs to take advantage of modern technologies to help expand their reach to new audiences, and influence those in positions of power through widespread media and digital learning campaigns. As such, I’ve developed and am still developing numerous interactive learning tools. These can be deployed easily on any laptop or mobile device, and are cheap and easy to produce, and provide a highly fun and unique learning experience for students of any age or background.

Biofact Challenge Station

Designed as part of our didactic information displays at The Nature Discovery Center of Cambodia, this touchscreen app accompanied a collection of real-world biofacts that students and visitors could interact with. The app provided additional factsheets and information, as well as a challenge to complete with each of the accompanying biofacts.

Visitors and students could select from a photo gallery, a collection of field notes and wildlife illustrations, and an interactive ecosystem map. Within each section is a plethora of information, pictures and videos to discover.
